This Inside Sales role is an entry-level position that is vital to the day-to day activities of the company as well as our growth. The ideal Inside Sales Representative candidate should be an good communicator, eager to learn a new industry, and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. The position is challenging and requires someone with patience and determination, as well as the desire to build a career. This position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, use a pallet jack, drive a forklift, and perform other tasks as needed. Inside Sales/Warehouse - Columbus, Ohio (Trabue Road) Relationship * Reports to the General Manager * Works with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Operations in a team environment. * Works extensively with Customers and Vendors Skills * Previous Inside Sales experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Computer Experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel. * High School Diploma/GED Required. * Valid Driver's License Required. Responsibilities * Work Safely. * Handle phone orders and walk-in orders from customers. * Receive and ship Purchase Orders as well as Sales Orders in Conjunction with Purchasing and Warehouse Staff. * Help customers and our team with cylinders, load trucks, operate a forklift, and assists in our production facility as needed. * Build a substantial base of knowledge about the products that we sell, including Gases, Welding Supplies, Welding Applications, and Safety. * Consistently bring a high level of energy and a sense of urgency to all customer-related activities and communication. * Work side-by-side with all members of the team on other projects as assigned by management.
