Job Description

Dillard's, Inc. is seeking Retail Sales Associates to join our Dillard's team. We are looking for energetic, positive, and reliable individuals who are eager to learn and grow with our company. We are currently hiring for our Ladies' and Junior's Apparel Departments. Associates will be required to dress professionally, maintaining Dillard's standards. Must be able to work most, but not necessarily all, weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to commute to Tyler, TX daily.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Professional attire required. Job

Duties

: A desire and willingness to obtain and maintain product knowledge and to use the tools provided by Dillard's to grow and foster relationships with your client base..

• Greet customers as they enter the store and ask questions about products as needed.
• Take payments from customers using a cash register system.
• Sort payments correctly in order to ensure that they are correct for the sale at the time of sale.
• Process returns accurately by reviewing product information, inspecting packaging, and restring merchandise if necessary.
• Recovery of assigned work area.
• Communicate clearly with management about any issues or problems that may arise within the store or within your teammates' work environment.

Compensation

: Starting wage $17-$19 depending on workstation and experience, with potential for increase at three month review.
