Job Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join our optometry office! You will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. As a staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Responsibilities - Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and courteously - Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying on electronic medical records system - Assist the optometrist by performing pre-examination testing and contact lens training - Educate patients on their vision plan eligibility and benefits - Assist patients in frame selection and glasses/contact lens purchases - Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations Requirements - Previous experience in a private practice optometry office is a plus, but not required. We can provide training as needed - Prefer Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese speaker, but not required - Strong customer service and communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor - Organized and detail-oriented - Positive attitude, reliable, punctual, and a team player - Available to work weekends -Pay is negotiable depending on experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.00 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Every weekend Experience: * Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Irvine, CA 92606 (Required) Work Location: In person
