Job Summary We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience, while building an ongoing customer base. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Duties * Greet customers and assist them in locating products. * Process transactions accurately using the cash register and Point-Of-Sale system. * Handle cash and credit transactions with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers. * Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays, and managing stock counts. * Utilize retail math skills to assist in inventory counts and sales reporting. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall store performance. * Willingness to provide ideas and feedback in an effort to create a better experience for customers Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. * Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register or POS system (training provided). * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. * A proactive attitude towards learning about products and sales techniques.
