Subaru of Jacksonville, Florida's #1 Volume Subaru sales retailer, has expanded and is searching for experienced new & used automotive sales consultants in order to properly serve our growing customer base. Subaru of Jacksonville is a family-owned and operated dealership that was founded in 2000 by current owner Phil Porter Sr and his family. Our mission is to deliver excellent customer service and change the stereotype of car dealerships with every customer and employee interaction. Our team is made up of highly motivated sales consultants with exceptional levels of customer satisfaction and ethical standards. We provide a one of a kind customer experience and have fun doing it. We need people with strong sales experience who will always put the customer first. We also volunteer and support many local charities and organizations. Subaru of Jacksonville has two locations that are connected. The original building at 10800 Atlantic Blvd will now have Certified Pre-Owned Subaru and Used Vehicle sales. The new building at 1717 St. Johns Bluff Rd S has New Subaru sales. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Sells new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, & customer satisfaction standards. * Sells & Delivers a minimum number of vehicles per month. * Ensures all available factory training is completed as assigned. * Processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies. * Conducts business in a professional & ethical manner. * Maintains a prospect development system utilizing dealership CRM. * Approaches, greets, & offers assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot. * Attends product & sales training courses as requested by management. * Keeps up to date with new products & services within the industry. * Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat & referral business & contributes to customer satisfaction. * Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions & listening carefully to their responses. * Explains fully product performance, application, & benefits to prospects. * Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase. * Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive. * Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction. * Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., & their benefits to customers. * Knows & understands equity & values. Is also able to explain depreciation to the customer. * Prepares sold vehicles for customers for customer delivery prior to customer arrival. * Ensures that the customer understands the vehicles operation features, factory warranty, & paperwork. * Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available. * Follows up on all post delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes", and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met. * Attends sales meetings. * Maintains professional appearance. * Other tasks as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: * At least * 1 year automotive experience heavily preferred but not required. Import/Subaru/Used sales experience a plus. * Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license. * Available to work flexible hours and weekends * Self-start mentality and ambitious spirit preferred * Ready to waste no time on learning new product in's and out's, eager to improve * Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members. *Pay is estimated annual, position is commission-based.
