This full-time, non-exempt position is based in Hopkins, MN and reports to the Customer Service Manager. This is a Monday-Friday position with normal working hours of 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities * Proactive Customer Outreach : * Initiate outbound communication with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and other channels to qualify leads, assess customer needs, and drive opportunities. * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring they have a positive experience throughout the sales journey. * Actively follow up on inbound leads and inquiries, helping to convert them into qualified opportunities. * Quoting and Proposal Generation : * Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to generate accurate and timely quotes based on customer requirements, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with company standards. * Create customized proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition, pricing, and delivery timelines. * Ensure that all quotes are aligned with customer expectations and proactively follow up to move prospects through the sales pipeline. * Pre-Sales Support : * Assist in qualifying leads and identifying customer pain points, collaborating with sales leadership to develop targeted strategies for closing business. * Support the sales team by providing necessary data and insights to prepare for customer meetings and presentations. * Track and report on sales metrics, lead progress, and quote activity to provide transparency and feedback for continuous improvement. * CRM Management : * Maintain up-to-date records of all customer interactions, quotes, and outreach activities in the CRM system. * Regularly update and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with sales objectives. * Collaboration : * Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experience. * Participate in regular sales meetings and strategy sessions to continuously improve sales processes and tactics. Qualifications * Minimum of at least two years of customer service, inside sales or related experience * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, understand their needs, and provide clear and concise responses. * Strong interpersonal skills to build good relationships with customers. * Problem-solving skills to understand the nature of a customer's issue and work efficiently to resolve it. * Strong knowledge of the product or service to provide accurate and helpful information to customers. * Ability to multitask, handling several customer inquiries at once while maintaining a high level of service. * Good organizational skills to keep track of customer interactions, transactions, and any follow-up actions needed. * Computer literacy, including knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant software.
