Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between customers and our service technicians, ensuring that all automotive service needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of automotive repair processes, and the ability to align customer needs with our service offerings.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional service throughout their visit.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services based on vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Collaborate with service technicians to ensure accurate auto estimating and effective communication regarding repair timelines.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Provide clear explanations of services performed and any additional recommendations for vehicle care.
• Manage customer expectations regarding service delivery times and follow up on any outstanding issues.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, trends in vehicle maintenance, and diesel engine repair practices.
• Assist in automotive sales by promoting relevant services and products to enhance customer satisfaction. Experience
• Previous experience in an automotive service environment is preferred, particularly in roles related to auto service management or automotive sales.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance practices, including tire service and general automotive repair processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers and align their needs with our services.
• A background in diesel engine repair or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.
