As a Pet Counselor, you will receive on-the-job training regarding sales processes, puppy housebreaking and teething, and care for smaller animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, and ferrets. In this role, your ability to succeed directly correlates to your ability to learn--the faster you learn, the faster you succeed! Benefits include - Performance-based pay - Employee discount - Insurance plan for full time employees Responsibilities include: - Using Petland processes to send puppies home on every shift! - Providing excellent customer service - Educating customers on the needs for pets they already own - Making phone calls to potential customers interested in our puppies Minimum Job Requirements: - Flexible schedule - Ability to perform basic math - Basic computer skills (Typing, Microsoft Word and Excel, etc.) - Strong written and oral communication skills - Good personal hygiene Starting pay is $13/hr, base pay jumps to $15/hr when fully trained, not including performance based pay!
