We are seeking a career-minded, highly motivated individual with extensive sales experience and strong leadership skills to manage and grow our sales operations in the Jacksonville, FL region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing, training, and managing a high-performing sales and operations team, and ensuring excellent customer service across all aspects of the business. Horizon Forest Products is a leading distributor of prefinished and unfinished hardwood flooring, plywood, lumber, floor equipment, abrasives, finishes, and sundry products across the Eastern U.S., with additional locations in Texas. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a talented, results-driven professional to join our team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership of branch staff * Develop and execute a sales plan to increase business ensure that sales targets are met * Manage, establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers * Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to ensure long-term business success * Forecast and plans according to fiscal needs * Focus sales efforts by planning and preparing sales through research of products and buying * Resolving customer issues as needed * Develop and implement on-site sales training * Oversee branch inventory * Develop and maintains extensive knowledge of products offered in the hardwood industry * Assessing market conditions and sales data to identify opportunities Skills and Experience: * Proven sales record of achieving revenue targets * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills * Ability to strategize and plan ahead * Managing positive team culture * Knowledge of hardwood flooring products, plywood, lumber, or related materials is a plus. * Able to pass a background check and drug test By submitting this application, I certify that all information on this application is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.
