Ace Hardware - Immediate Power Equipment Sales Opportunity Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have a strong knowledge of small engine parts and equipment? Ace Hardware, a beloved local hardware store with a rich history of community involvement, is looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Power Equipment Sales Associate to join our team at Ash & Rowan ACE and ACE at Indian Trail locations. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop lasting relationships with customers, offer personalized service, and work with a variety of outdoor power equipment brands such as STIHL, Honda, Toro, and Ego. This position offers evening and weekend hours, allowing you to showcase your expertise and passion for helping customers find the perfect solutions for their needs. Customer Service Responsibilities: * Project a positive representation of the Ace Hardware brand * Greet and assist customers with a friendly and outgoing demeanor * Build and maintain strong product knowledge base * Assist with stocking and maintaining merchandise in the service department * Work collaboratively with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience Register Operations: * Follow cash register transaction procedures accurately * Balance register drawer and implement promotions effectively Other Essential Requirements: * Ability to count money accurately and communicate effectively * Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends * Familiarity with small engine power equipment, sales, and retail Education and Experience: * Must be at least 18 years old * Previous sales experience and knowledge of small engine equipment required * Familiarity with Microsoft and PC operations recommended Physical Demands: * Ability to hear, speak, and lift up to 60lbs * Extended periods of standing required Location: Ace on Francis Why Join Us: * Competitive pay and benefits package including paid time off, health insurance, and 401k matching * Employee discounts on a wide range of products * Opportunity for paid training and continuous learning in the retail industry We are your local hardware store and we are a part of your community.
