Full job description Carrhill Company is a manufacturer's representation agency servicing the wholesale plumbing industry, representing reputable brands and products in the greater California, Nevada, Hawaii markets. Our partnerships include multi- national producers of highly demanded materials and products, placing Carrhill and future employment candidates in a unique position to grow in the industry and achieve personal and organizational success. We are seeking a highly motivated and professional candidate for the Territory Manager position in the South Bay in California. Entry-level candidates who demonstrate these qualities will be considered for this position, and the ideal candidate resides in the South Bay area. This position requires in-person engagement, candidates not meeting the geographical requirements will not be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities: * Customer Relations & Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Serve as the primary point of contact, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring their satisfaction. * Vendor Relations & Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our vendor partners. The ideal candidate will resolve challenges and address key initiatives while demonstrating a positive image and attitude with our trade partners. * Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your territory. Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase market share. Become a product expert on all categories within a reasonable timeframe. * Territory Management: Organize and manage your territory effectively, ensuring efficient coverage and optimal customer engagement. * Customer Service Excellence: Provide excellent service to existing customers, offering support and solutions to enhance their experience and loyalty. * Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Our success is dependent on each team member continually supplying new ideas and solutions to serve our customers. As a small team, your participation is critical for our success together. Desired Qualifications: * Proven experience or passion in customer service, preferably in plumbing, HVAC, hardware, building materials, or related industries. * A self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to manage and grow customer accounts effectively under minimal supervision. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a large territory. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English/Spanish, with a knack for building value-add relationships with a diverse mix of customers, business owners and key decision-makers. * Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. * Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. * Ability to travel within your assigned territory, industry events, and as otherwise requested. * A 'Hands-on' personality who does not shy away from getting their hands dirty. * Resides in the South Bay area of California.
