About Us: At Elite Pool and Spa, we are dedicated to providing top-quality products and services for all swimming pool and spa needs. Our store is a one-stop-shop for pools, spas, chemicals, cleaners, and accessories. We pride ourselves on our knowledgeable staff, excellent customer service, and a friendly shopping environment. Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for water testing, recommending chemicals, processing transactions, answering phones, assisting customers with loading purchases, selling pools, spas, and related products, and maintaining store cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: * Water Testing & Chemical Recommendations: Perform water tests for customers and provide expert advice on the necessary chemicals to maintain pool and spa water quality. * Customer Service: Greet customers, answer inquiries, and provide product information to ensure a positive shopping experience. * Sales: Assist customers in selecting pools, spas, chemicals, cleaners, and accessories. Promote and explain product features and benefits. * Transaction Processing: Handle sales transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and debit payments. * Phone Support: Answer incoming calls, address customer questions, and direct calls to the appropriate departments. * Inventory Management: Help maintain stock levels by organizing shelves, restocking products, and conducting inventory checks. * Loading Assistance: Assist customers with loading heavy products, such as chemicals and equipment, into their vehicles. * Store Maintenance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff. This includes sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
