Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director of Sales to lead, train, and develop our sales and customer service teams across four locations located in Indiana. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a blend of coaching, process improvement, and field engagement. The right candidate will be passionate about people development, customer satisfaction, and scalable growth. This position is based in the Indianapolis Metro area and requires some travel to spend time on-site at our locations. Key Responsibilities * Lead and coach the outside sales and customer service/sales teams across all four company locations. * Design and deliver effective product training, cross-training programs, and ongoing skill development initiatives in sales and customer service. * Identify and implement improvements in sales processes, customer engagement strategies, and team workflows. * Collaborate closely with location managers to ensure performance consistency and alignment with company goals. * Act as a mentor and coach, providing hands-on support in the field and at the branch level. * Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. * Analyze data to track performance, identify gaps, and recommend actionable improvements. * Strengthen relationships with key customers, contractors, and distribution partners. * Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to increase brand visibility and build market intelligence. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field, preferred. * 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a strong background in training and team development. * Experience in the construction, civil infrastructure, or drainage industry is strongly preferred. * Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations and deliver measurable performance improvements. * Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills. * Comfort with some travel, working in a hands-on, field-focused environment. * Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
