Full description of the position

Seafood Sales Representative We are seeking a Sales Representative who will be responsible for selling seafood and seafood-related products to various businesses and individuals within the food service industry of the North Alabama Area. This role requires a hands-on approach to sales, focusing on executing sales activities rather than managing others. The ideal candidate should have a background in the food service sector. An existing book of business is a plus. The Role: Responsible for meeting sales goals, obtaining new accounts. Continuously promoting and selling seafood products and services to existing and potential new customers. This role conducts sales in the office, as well as making regular outside sales calls and visiting with the customers. Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To: * Must be a driven sales professional capable of cold calling and prospecting. * Must have great time management skills and be able to multi-task. * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable with using e-mail and text to communicate with customers. * Must be computer oriented and be comfortable entering your own orders into our existing ERP software. * Able to meet and/or exceed sales goals developed by the management team. * Should be resourceful and innovative in acquiring new account information and pursuit of opportunities to increase sales. * Demonstrate administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs. * Demonstrate a positive attitude towards everyday job activities and accepts correction if mistakes are made or constructive criticism is needed. * Utilizes effective and positive communication skills associated with interacting daily with co-workers and customers. * Demonstrate ability to manage a diverse and high-volume book of business with emphasis on customer relations, customer satisfaction and client retention. * Demonstrate ability to grow client base through new and pre-existing industry relationships. * Comfortable maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction even while working in the field away from the office. * Must be professional, punctual, and team oriented.
