Responsibilities * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized assistance. * Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers. * Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions, ensuring satisfaction throughout the sales process. * Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing returns. * Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are well-maintained. * Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, inventory management, and customer data entry. * Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or other communication channels. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is a plus. * Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly. * A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. * A passion for sales and a desire to contribute positively to the team environment.
