Luxury Sales Associate Job Description: PROVENANCE is a niche luxury brand located in Gold Coast's 900 N. Michigan Shops. It is a Chicago-brand focused on luxury custom designed tailored garments for men and women. The store also features curated niche luxury collections of perfumes, accessories and gifts from Europe and around the world as well as an in-house whiskey and spirits bar for its guests. PROVENANCE services clients locally and across the country delivers a uniquely personalized shopping experience that is white glove, yet warm and approachable. We are searching for Sales Associates who are kind, passionate, yet luxury focused. We also seek those who are professionally committed to growing small business and have a willingness to work in various areas to achieve store objectives and goals. COMPENSATION: * Hourly Compensation: $20-$25/hour * Commissions: 4%-10% (based on performance and policies) * Healthcare Reimbursement Benefits RESPONSIBILITIES Service & Sales: * Elevate in store experience consistently delivering memorable moments. Optimize hospitality and store amenities to create unique experiences. * Have excellent product knowledge and maintain a strong understanding of product sales performance and optimize sales of the available inventory, particularly around luxury perfumes, tailored clothing, finer luxury goods * Deepen the relationship with our customers to achieve or exceed sales plan and drive loyalty * Drive client development activities cultivate new and existing clients such as: client outreach, marketing outreach, Thank You Notes, Event Invites, Re-engagement, etc) * Host our client and expand brand awareness through in-store selling events * Assist in the coordination, preparation, marketing and execution of sales during in-store sales events In-Store Operational Excellence: * Opening and Closing of the store * Keep in-store visual standards front-of-house and back-of-house * Shipping packages * Ensure exceptional operational support to drive sales and service. * Manage efficient back of house and ensure consistency with established operational procedures. Qualifications * Required minimum of 3 years of retail or luxury retail store experience or relevant customer related experience (e.g., hospitality). * Strong client relations and communications skills * Required experience of in-store retail operations and functions * Proven track record in sales generation, managing the achievement of sales results. * Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays. * Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e., on the sales floor, operations, etc.). * Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in market. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS) system. * Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based.
