Job Summary joys place LIVE! Cashier/Packager Position Monday - Friday, 9:00 to 4:00 Training and part time available immediately, with transition to full time starting June 1st joys place LIVE! Cashier moves between many different tasks during the course of the day. The most essential task for the cashier is in setting the tone for the customer experience, honoring the: "Take-Home Foods that Nourish" mission of joys place LIVE! Once a level of cashiering experience is reached, packaging, stocking and other basic regular daily tasks are included with this position. It is essential that the Cashier take an interest in and be capable of both sharing knowledge and information about the organic, fresh foods we prepare daily, in addition to learning specific ingredients, potential benefits, potential allergies etc. All while adhering to all food-handling and workplace safety standards. Sales at joys place LIVE! are made with a sense of integrity and purpose, while fostering a positive and healthy environment for both the customers and our staff! Responsibilities * Maintain a clean and organized workspace. * Provide excellent, personable customer service during retail sales activities. * Handle cash transactions accurately when involved in retail sales, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Restock and package efficiently, date, label and rotate food items accurately. * Utilize phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone. Qualifications * Previous experience in packaging, retail sales, or customer service is preferred. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective teamwork. * Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately is required.
