                Full description of the position
Job Purpose: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base, driving revenue growth, and enhancing our reputation as a trusted provider of traffic safety solutions. As a key player in our growth strategy, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and driving revenue through new customer acquisition. This role requires a highly motivated, self- starter with exceptional organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven track record of achieving sales goals. Job Duties: * Identify, target, and engage potential clients in need of traffic control and safety solutions for special events, construction projects, and work zones. * Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction. * Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners to generate business opportunities. * Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas. * Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from initial inquiry to project completion. * Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding traffic control strategies, FDOT regulations, and safety compliance. * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed to achieve targets. * Job Qualifications: * Proven track record of successful sales experience in the traffic control, construction, or related industry. * Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals. * Deep understanding of traffic safety regulations, FDOT guidelines, and industry best practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients. * Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet client needs. * Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools. * A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. * Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. * Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset. * Familiarity with traffic control services and regulations is a plus. Knowledge of FDOT regulations and permitting process is advantageous. * Physical Requirements/ Work Environment: * While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. * Requires lifting and carrying of up to 15lb or more. * Requires using hands to handle, control or lift objects with a strong gripAll American Barricades Corp
