Duties

:

• Identify, target, and engage potential clients in need of traffic control and safety solutions for special events, construction projects, and work zones.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets, while maintaining a strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
• Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners to generate business opportunities.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth areas.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from initial inquiry to project completion.
• Provide expert advice and recommendations to clients regarding traffic control strategies, FDOT regulations, and safety compliance.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management using CRM tools. Continuously monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adapting strategies as needed to achieve targets.

Qualifications

:

• Proven track record of successful sales experience in the traffic control, construction, or related industry.
• Strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close deals.
• Deep understanding of traffic safety regulations, FDOT guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to meet client needs.
• Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
• Familiarity with traffic control services and regulations is a plus. Knowledge of FDOT regulations and permitting process is advantageous.
