Accounts Payable Manager Position Overview We are a design services company with show rooms in New York and New Jersey and pride ourselves on the high-quality material we provide to our customers. The AP Manager will help oversee the accounts payable department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing invoices and payments. The role is responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by managing the overall accounts payable function, developing best practices, and implementing effective processes. Key Responsibilities * Help manage the accounts payable team and oversee daily operations of the department. * Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. * Review and approve payment runs and invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies. * Develop and implement accounts payable policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. * Monitor and manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. * Utilize ERP systems to maintain accurate records and reporting of accounts payable activities. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * 7+ years of experience managing Accounts Payable processes * Working knowledge of ERP systems * Proficient in handling invoice processing and payment approvals. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with vendors and team members.
