Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales within our retail environment. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers with their purchases, conducting product demos, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast- paced setting. Commissions based on performance is also included. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to potential buyers. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. * Process transactions accurately through cash handling and point-of-sale systems. * Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively. * Upsell additional products or services based on customer needs and preferences. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance. * Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Experience * Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and effective phone etiquette. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus but not required. * Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
