Full description of the position

A BDC (Business Development Center) is responsible for managing incoming calls, online inquiries, and scheduling appointments for both sales and service departments by actively contacting potential customers and following up to ensure they visit the dealership for further information or to purchase a vehicle. Essential Duties Check all no-show appointments for previous day, call to reschedule. Obtain follow-up list from previous days business. Call each customer no later than the next business day. Report all customers with open issues to the service manager. Call to confirm all next day appointments, reschedule as necessary. Process all internet appointment leads. Log all incoming calls for appointments through Xtime. Process all first service appointments through Xtime. Call overdue/inactive service lists to increase profitability and dealer retention scores. Work with management and team to provide the very best customer service. Implement service strategies with service department team to grow the business, increase dealer profitability, customer satisfaction, and customer service retention. Communicate with management and service advisors to resolve any open customer satisfaction issues. Monitor Xtime appointments to maximize shop efficiency. Rescheduling appointments that may hinder weekend operation. Cashier Backup Performs other duties as assigned. Ability to multitask and manage different demands at the same time. Prioritization and sense of urgency are necessary. Strong verbal communication skills (Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus) Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings. Good written and verbal communication skills.
