Sales Consultant - Acura of Los Angeles Westside Acura of Los Angeles Westside is excited to announce its expansion and is on the lookout for dynamic, motivated individuals to join our team as Sales Consultants. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with automotive sales experience or those eager to start their sales career in a thriving environment. What You'll Do: As a Sales Consultant, your role will involve creating outstanding experiences for our guests and leveraging your communication skills to understand and fulfill their needs. Here's a glimpse into your day-to-day responsibilities: * Guide customers through a comprehensive buying process adhering to our established selling steps, policies, and procedures. * Exhibit a high level of product knowledge, including vehicle features and benefits. * Demonstrate vehicle operations and features in the showroom and during test drives. * Facilitate vehicle delivery by ensuring customers understand features, warranties, and paperwork. * Implement a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. * Develop and execute a prospecting system, including calls, emails, and text messages to set appointments. * Set and monitor personal sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis. * Maintain positive, ethical working relationships with employees, manufacturers, lenders, vendors, and customers. * Uphold our dealership's values, quality, and integrity while analyzing information to resolve issues and make informed decisions. Qualifications: We are seeking candidates who are: * Passionate about meeting new people and dedicated to helping our customers. * Experienced in customer service and/or sales, preferably with automotive sales experience. * Possess a current, valid California sales license. * Full-time availability and at least 18 years old. * Creative, positive, and a team player with a strong work ethic. * Ability to make sound business decisions and analyze situations effectively. * Honest, empathetic, and possess exceptional communication skills. * Comfortable working in both team-based and independent settings. * Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred. * Hold a minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic with excellent customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills. * Able to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in various forms. * Possess a professional appearance and strong work ethic. * Maintain an excellent driving record and have a current, valid driver?s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). * Capable of passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Physical Demands: The role involves: * Sitting and/or standing interchangeably throughout the day. * Sitting or standing for extended periods. * Using hands, fingers, and arms continually. * Bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, and kneeling frequently. * Lifting and carrying items that may exceed 50 pounds. * Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
