Responsibilities/Qualifications: As a Store Team Member, you are always striving to enhance the lives of pets and educate our neighbors when they are shopping with us. What is in it for you? * Working with PETS! * Room for advancement * Continuous product training * Flexible schedule * Employee discounts Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure that each neighbor receives PAWsome service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every neighbor, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of neighbor engagement. * Meet Team Member performance expectations and goals for the store * Ability to properly complete necessary paperwork * Ability to move throughout the store unassisted to provide neighbor engagement & perform tasks in any part of the store for up to 8 hours * Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements * Maintain cleanliness of all animal & bird cages, reptile habitats, and fish tanks including animal care, feeding, and handling crickets and bugs * Lifting 50+ lb bags of food regularly * Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping * Assist in receiving & stocking merchandise and monitoring floor stock * Adhere to all policy and procedures Pet Supplies Plus is an equal opportunity employer and Drug Free Workplace.
