Full description of the position

BISON Transport USA is currently looking for a dynamic Account Manager to add to its team! The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and growing exceptional relationships with assigned clients. This includes, but is not limited to, understanding commitment levels, lane opportunities, level of service expectations, brokerage opportunities, and network complexities. Strong relationships with the Customer Service team is essential, with the expectation to know the transactional details to be able to problem solve day- today tasks. In addition, the AM collaborates with the Operations team in the servicing of clients. The AM is responsible for growing business across all divisions of the company (Cross Border, LTL, Intermodal, Brokerage, etc.). Customer Relationship:

• The AM is responsible for fostering a strong relationship and ensuring that the customer's needs are properly understood and served.
• Solicit freight for truckload, brokerage, and other avenues to service the customer.
• Establish proactive check-ins and routine meetings with customers. Operations

Responsibilities

:

• The AM should aid in the translation of customer needs into positive action by the company. The AM must work with planning personnel to ensure maximum equipment utilization while maintaining targeted customer service levels.
• The AM is responsible for quality of order entry and appointment making, relationship establishment and development, issue resolution, and business level monitoring. What Will You Need?
• High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's degree in Transportation & Logistics preferred.
• 1 - 5+ Years in an Account Management/Sales role within the transportation sector.
• Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of the Transportation industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Strong organization skills and detail oriented. Job Type: Full-time
