Take advantage of our successful advertising, repeat customer base, large showroom of in-stock merchandise, and ongoing training to grow your sales skills Here 's What You Will Be Doing: * Build lasting relationships with customers while helping them find the perfect items to meet their needs, tastes, and purchase options * Follow up with customers to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction * Join a supportive team that works together to achieve individual goals and company expectations * In addition, you will partner with other members of your team to create an engaging customer experience * You will be responsible for consistently meeting established sales goals * Maintain high level of engagement, greeting customers, cultivating relationships, and discovering furnishing needs * Maintain knowledge of a broad range of furniture styles, trends, and products through company training and your own research of trends * Utilize computer tools to validate credit terms and complete sales transactions We Offer You: * Participate in a 2-week extensive training program, followed by 1 additional week of training in your store * 12-week guarantee pay of $720/week * Unlimited and uncapped income commission potential and weekly pay * Comprehensive benefit package * Paid vacation * Wellness days * 401(k) with company match * Tuition reimbursement * Continuous training and development while continuing to grow * Local travel to attend training programs * Generous employee discount * Fun, clean, and engaging retail environment Requirements: * Minimum Qualifications: * Positive and engaging personality that will engage and drive sales * Creative flare and energetic attitude * Strong customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering a positive and memorable shopping experience * Computer proficient in placing orders and credit applications * Ability to work a full-time retail schedule that includes nights, weekends (Saturday & Sunday, open to close), holidays, and special sales events * Successful background in working within a team and mentoring other team members to increase yours and your team members' success * Exceptional listening and problem resolution skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers Physical Demands: Walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and/or move, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds Gardner White Furniture maintains a drug-free workplace and performs a pre- employment background check.
