Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and creative Design Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for design and a strong ability to connect with clients, helping them realize their vision through innovative solutions. This role requires a blend of sales acumen, customer service expertise, and design knowledge to effectively guide clients in selecting products that best suit their needs. Duties * Engage with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements. * Provide expert advice on lighting design and product selection, ensuring alignment with client expectations. * Utilize strong negotiation skills to close sales and build lasting relationships with customers. * Manage inventory stock levels and assist in maintaining an organized display of products. * Conduct outside sales activities, including attending client meetings and showcasing design options. * Operate cash register functions accurately during transactions. * Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer experience from consultation through installation. Skills * Proven sales experience with a focus on customer service excellence. * Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and client interactions effectively. * Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales confidently. * Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. * Proficiency in using cash registers and handling financial transactions accurately. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing client needs.
