The *Distribution Planner - Sales and Operations Planning *role is responsible for category inventory management across Rheem's Water Division. Responsible for category inventory planning, creating replenishment strategies, executing SKU transitions, maintaining network balance through parameters, and collaborating with internal and external cross-functional partners. This position will serve our Water Division , located in Roswell, GA (Hybrid). * RESPONSIBILITIES * Identify and prioritize root causes of fill rate issues and excess inventory, and drive corrective actions across cross-functional teams * Review inventory discrepancies to identify root causes and either recommend corrective actions to appropriate plant personnel or enter transactions in inventory system * Leverages Oracle and other systems to execute "day-to-day" inventory control, to consistently achieve fill rates while minimizing excess inventory across the water division * Reconcile assigned inventories on a weekly and monthly basis and prepare monthly inventory entries * Publish inventory report and perform analysis on an as-needed basis * Perform weekly inventory audits of assigned inventories * Publish daily production, scrap, inventory valuations, and negative inventory reports * Drive monthly internal audit reviews of receiving and shipping * Review Bill Of Materials (BOMs) for errors causing inventory deviations and submit corrections to internal teams QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Supply Chain, Finance, Business, or Logistics or related field. * 5+ years of supply chain planning, accounting, or related experience in a manufacturing environment * An innovative solution-first spirit and an ability to think creatively. * High technical aptitude * Able to work with cross-functional teams and external subject matter experts * Passionate about building and owning innovative, customer-facing services/products. * Great presentation and communication skills * Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as: Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP supply chain management systems * Excellent analytical and problem identification/solving skills * Strong modeling, scenario building, and data visualization skills * Driving Collaboration: Creates an environment of teamwork that integrates the customer perspective, ultimately producing maximum results. * Exhibiting Agility: Aligns people, processes, and strategies to drive flawless execution in an ever-changing environment. * Promoting Entrepreneurship: Develops ongoing excellence and effective business growth while maintaining company culture, cultivating talent, and demonstrating ethics and integrity. * Accelerating Impact: Builds confidence by modeling behavior, effective communications, and positive influence. Preferred Qualifications : * Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. * Water Heating / HVAC industry experience preferred. * Experience using Oracle * Material Control and Planning related experiences * Cost Accounting experience including experience with standard costing, BOMs, Routers, Backflushing of inventory and Product * Costing at various stages of manufacturing * Continuous Improvement projects in a manufacturing operations environment * APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional or relevant supply chain certification LI-Hybrid LI-AT1
