That is what LiveWell Mobility and Modification does. We help those with a NEED update their homes for more accessibility and safety. Rather it be grab bars, a bathroom remodel, or a home elevator, we want to help! LiveWell Mobility and Modifications consists of two companies currently focused in Houston and Galveston Metros: * LiveWell Mobility and Modifications - Provides mobility solutions (stairlifts, ramps, wheelchair lifts, lift chair recliners, etc) and modifications like doorway widening, bathtub-to-shower conversions, bathroom remodels, ramps, grab bars and handrails, etc. * LiveWell Elevators and Lifts provides traditional home elevators, vertical platform lifts (porch lifts or wheelchair lifts), stairlifts, and is introducing a new alternative elevator with improved affordability and luxury. Both the Home Modification and Home Elevator markets are a HUGE growing segment with the aging baby boomers, increasing townhome living in the Houston area, and stilt-built housing near the gulf. We are looking for a key contributor to help us develop these markets. This is a field-based market development and sales position. We are looking for a Houston-based "accessibility consultant" to introduce our products and services to healthcare facilities, senior-care organizations, and community organizations to gain referrals to individuals that need our services. The primary responsibility will be face-to-face marketing and education with potential referral sources such as skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, home care agencies, home health, hospice, churches, senior centers, and others that serve the senior health community. This position also will be responsible for personally contacting and securing new clients by performing in-home consultations with clients to educate them on proper solutions available to help them remain safe and independent in their homes. Lastly, this position will be responsible for following-up on company-generated leads through online advertising and other marketing efforts. IDEAL CANDIDATE: The candidate for this position would be independent, motivated & compassionate and enjoys being out in the community on a daily basis. The ideal candidate would need to be passionate about helping others and might have a background in the following or similar areas: Nurse, OT, PT, Social Worker or Teacher. CORE FUNCTIONS: Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs. DETAILS OF FUNCTION: * Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers (and referral sources) and prospective customers (and referral sources) in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization's products/services. * Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers. * Researches sources for developing prospective customers and information to determine their potential. * Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotes for current and prospective customers. * Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. * Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. * Identifies advantages and compares organization's products/services to the competition in order to effectively sell against the competition. * Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment. * Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas. * Participates in trade shows and conventions. * Utilizes the proprietary computer operating system to record customer interactions, develop quotes, invoices and other related paperwork. COMPENSATION: This position has a base salary of $2500/month and is highly commissioned and bonus-based. Once fully trained (~2-3 months), successful employees can expect to achieve monthly compensation between $5000 and $8000 with no cap. QUALIFICATIONS: The applicant must be passionate about helping people. Candidates for this job must exemplify patience and a strong work ethic and have a positive phone and personal disposition. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach). Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
