Job Description: Position Details: * Competitive salary in $70,000-110,000 range depending upon qualifications. * 2+ years of foodservice sales, culinary experience, or foodservice management in an institutional setting. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company. Position Responsibilities: * Regularly calls on existing and potential customers * Effectively manages segment markets by location, potential and size. * Builds long-term relationships by becoming knowledgeable about customers' business. * Communicates with local brokers/manufacturer representatives to uncover sales opportunities. * Develops appropriate bids and menus for all products to support customers' business strategies. * Retrieves and utilizes information continually to make the appropriate and profitable recommendation on pricing for the customer and Broadline. Qualification: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience 12+ months in foodservice sales, culinary experience or foodservice management in an institutional setting Valid Driver's License and vehicle Company description Performance Foodservice, PFG's broadline distributor, maintains a unique relationship with a variety of local customers, including independent restaurants and hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries.
