About us ATX Jerky, LLC is a small business in Austin, TX. Our work environment includes: * On-the-job training * Growth opportunities * Company perks ATX Jerky is looking for Farmer's Market Sales Associates to join our small but strong team. We are located in the downtown historic district of Elgin, TX at 107 N. Main Street, but we attend farmer's markets and festivals all around the greater Austin area. We mainly produce jerky, but also produce pickles and honey products too! As the Sales Associate , you will: * Sell ATX Jerky at various Farmer's Markets (typically on weekends). This entails setting up the tent, tables, and food products for display. * Seek out new wholesale opportunities for the sale of ATX products (help get our products into more stores) * Ensure shelves where ATX Jerky is currently being sold are fully stocked. Drop off new products when necessary. This commission-based position utilizes your personal vehicle. You are paid an hourly rate in addition to a bonus based on the amount of product you sell while at a farmer's market. You will also earn tips for being helpful, attentive, and alert at farmer's markets. This split position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work full-time with some hours worked at farmer's markets and some worked in the prep kitchen.
