Full description of the position

Responsibilities: * Develop and execute annual sales plan and tactics aligned with growing a geographic territory. * Account management, including managing existing accounts. Requires account planning monthly. * Prospect new customers and develop existing customers. * Thorough technical knowledge of BCS products, services and applications including ability to develop proposals in response to requests for quotation. * Seek new market opportunities, including bid-spec work, utilizing Construct Connect (construction database) * Drive specifications towards BC&S offerings, with assigned consulting engineers. * Develop presentation materials for decision makers including specifying engineers, design-build contractors, and contractors describing BCS competitive advantages and value proposition. * Team with Technical Solutions team, in building customer relationships * Work with Technical Solutions team on customer training and calendar, supporting sales objectives. * Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM/Hubspot, estimating team) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunities within accounts. Generate a high level of activity to feed the sales pipeline and manage opportunities to successfully move them through the sales cycle to close. * Attend and present at trade shows. Participate in professional organizations to grow market. Travel, as needed, to support territory. * Qualifications: * HVAC/Controls/BAS sales experiences * Experience prospecting and maintaining accounts. * Experience with Building Automation/Mechanical contractors and end user (Commercial) businesses.
