Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Pittsburgh site is looking for a new Sea Logistics Sales Representative to join our Sea Logistics team. Your Role As a Sales Executive at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a vital role in support of our rapid growth in sea logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, we are hiring highly motivated individuals who are sales savvy, and believe in delivering quality service to fulfil customer needs. This role will be responsible for delivering agreed portfolio targets through the development of existing and new customers in accordance with our national sales management guidelines. Your Responsibilities * Build relationships with customers by meeting with them to discuss their needs and expectations, in an effort to bring in new business. * Work with the Customer Care team to ensure all customer inquiries are promptly addressed. * Collaborate with colleagues across the Sea Logistics organization to share knowledge and best practices. * Stay up-to-date on market trends and developments, in the Transpacific Eastbound market. * Comply with all Kuehne+Nagel procedures, including those related to ethics, compliance, and safety. * Develop a comprehensive sales plan that aligns with our organizational goals. * Build relationships with customers through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and presentations. * Negotiate and close deals to grow revenue. Manage the sales process from start to finish using a CRM system. * Understand all of Kuehne+Nagel's products and services in order to provide solutions to prospective customers. * Use all available resources to achieve sales goals. * Provide excellent customer service that exceeds customer expectations. Comply with all applicable regulations. * Work with other teams to gather information, negotiate pricing, and prepare for the handover of shipments to operations. Your Skills and Experiences * 2+ years field sales in freight forwarding with an international sea logistics focus * Experience with logistics processes and solutions * Bachelor's Degree preferred Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
