Metro Ford Sales Inc is seeking a professional full time cashier to join our team. Cashier would provide customers assistance within our entire dealership. Must be available Monday through Thursday 10am-7pm and Saturday 8am-5pm. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and / or counter ticket. * Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers. * Answer phones and direct consumer to the proper department and follow up in a timely manner. * Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer complaining customers to the appropriate individual for resolution *Operate switchboard telephone system * Communicate with callers in a professional, friendly and efficient manner, striving to minimize the amount of time customers spend on hold. * Assist the managers with various clerical duties as needed * Be friendly , professional, courteous and efficient when working with all customers and employees. * Familiarize yourself with department structures and internet procedures for assisting customer efficiently * Various clerical office duties including filing Qualifications: * Experience with Microsoft office suite is a plus * Ability to operate office equipment including adding machine, fax machine, and copier * Ability to communicate customers interests , needs and requests to management and sales personnel * Excellent phone skills * Professional personal appearance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Shift: * 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
