PURPOSE Will oversee the commercial space at the entrance of Star Island Resort. Will work with Executive, Development and Architectural team on new residential, timeshare residential, short-term rental, hotel, recreational use, retail, institutional use, eating establishments, retail shops, auditoriums and conference rooms development at Star Island Resort. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS * The Business Developer Manager will be responsible for finding a new long term tenant for the recently vacant commercial space at the entrance of Star Island. * Develop and Implement plans to increase the number of units at Star Island. * Effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. * Work with management on the creation of new amenities and commercial opportunities onsite. * Plan and organize work, communicate goals, and complete tasks on schedule. * Manage and coordinate bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd party vendors * May Assist with other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * College degree or higher level education or equivalent in experience. * Service-oriented style with professional presentation and communication skills * Experience managing * Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft office, etc. * Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. REQUIREMENTS * Knowledge of commercial real estate. * Strong leadership skills, and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictates.
