Department: Sales/Customer Service Reports To: General Manager Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The BDC Manager leads the Business Development Center team in driving customer engagement, increasing sales opportunities, and ensuring outstanding customer communication. This role includes supervising BDC representatives, developing lead generation strategies, monitoring performance, and collaborating with sales and service departments to improve overall customer experience and business performance. Key Responsibilities: * Manage daily operations of the BDC team, ensuring quality customer interactions and lead management. * Train, coach, and motivate BDC staff to meet or exceed performance goals. * Develop scripts and communication strategies for outbound and inbound calls, emails, and chats. * Analyze and track metrics such as appointment setting, contact rates, and conversion ratios. * Maintain CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy and timely follow-ups. * Work closely with sales and service departments to align goals and ensure seamless customer handoffs. * Handle escalated customer issues and ensure timely resolution. * Create reports on BDC performance and suggest strategies for continuous improvement. * Monitor and manage BDC staffing schedules to ensure coverage during business hours. Qualifications: * Proven experience in a BDC, customer service, or sales leadership role. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. * Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Data-driven with a strong understanding of KPIs and performance metrics. * Automotive or retail experience is a plus (if applicable). * High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
