Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Jewelry Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting and purchasing jewelry. Your expertise in retail sales and your ability to communicate effectively will help create a welcoming and informative shopping experience. Salary plus 2% commission on sale, Rotating weekends required Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect jewelry pieces to meet their needs. * Utilize your selling skills to promote products and drive sales within the store. * Operate the POS system efficiently, handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate cash register records. * Manage stock levels by organizing inventory, restocking shelves, and ensuring that displays are visually appealing. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. * Supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Maintain phone etiquette by answering calls professionally and assisting customers with their queries. Skills * Strong sales skills with a proven track record in retail sales. * Exceptional customer service abilities to create positive shopping experiences. * Proficiency in operating POS systems and cash handling procedures. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers and team members. * Ability to supervise others while promoting teamwork and collaboration within the store environment. * Knowledge of jewelry products is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
