Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their shopping needs, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and inventory, while also promoting products and services to enhance sales. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product features and benefits. * Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, ensuring efficient cash handling. * Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. * Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote upselling opportunities. * Supervise and train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom areas. Skills * Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Experience in grocery store environments is a plus, along with knowledge of stock management practices. * Ability to upsell products through effective communication and product demos. * Experience with supervising staff or leading teams is desirable.
