Outside Service Salespeople can expect any of the following responsibilities: * Identify potential customers via phone, networking, and/or social media to assist them with Service and Parts needs to meet company targets. * Grow an existing customer base and develop new strategies to expand the book of business. * Demonstrate sound judgment and superior communication skills in working with customers to set achievable expectations and profitable deals. * Routinely review and develop existing customers for growth opportunities. * Proactively manage work activities in the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (ZOHO experience is a plus). * Adapt to and support new technical tools and processes for improving customer and deal management. * Collaborate with the Service and Parts team to properly serve customers, setting reasonable expectations on timing and pricing. * Represent GWT with professionalism and integrity, modeling adherence to all company policies and procedures. * Support the decision-making process for non-standard deals with data, analysis, and documentation. * Work closely with the Sales Manager to coordinate and obtain approvals for non-standard quotes. * Deliver parts as needed. * Provide feedback to help shape and execute a sales strategy that fosters goal achievement and scalable success. * Create customized service programs based on customer needs and business types. * Demonstrate a commitment to safety at all times. Required Qualifications: * Minimum 3 years of experience in the heavy-duty trailer industry * MVR with a clean driving record - Company vehicle provided * Exceptional follow-up and communication skills * Proficient in Microsoft Office Products * Experience with CRM software (ZOHO preferred) * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Must be a self-starter that enjoys building and maintaining an established territory * Must be a team player with the ability to work across departments Preferred Qualifications: * Prior outside sales experience in the semi-trailer or heavy equipment industry
