Full description of the position

OVERVIEW The Account Executive Manager will lead a team of Account Executives and manage the customer lifecycle, ensuring the development of new customer relationships while maintaining loyalty and growth within an assigned territory. This role is responsible for guiding the team in prospecting, acquiring new accounts, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction to drive sales growth. The Manager will work closely with senior leadership to execute the sales plan and develop strategies that align with department goals. RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership Responsibilities * Oversee and manage a team of Account Executives, ensuring that team members meet or exceed sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. * Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to Account Executives to ensure continuous growth and development. * Set clear goals for the team and monitor progress to ensure that objectives are met in line with the regional sales strategy. * Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement customer strategies that align with corporate targets. * Analyze performance data and trends to adjust sales strategies, identify opportunities for improvements and address challenges. * Report on team progress, account performance, and any issues to senior management, offering solutions and recommendations. * Sales Strategy and Execution: * Guide the team in generating new business by prospecting, attending trade shows, networking, conducting Private Shows, and setting up appointments with potential customers. * Develop individual account strategies for the team members to enhance sales growth and maximize up-selling and cross-selling opportunities. * Ensure that all customer accounts are managed throughout their lifecycle, from prospecting to retention. * Monitor the effectiveness of sales and marketing programs, providing input on product offerings, pricing, and promotions. * Oversee the team's participation in private and industry shows, ensuring the smooth process from customer invitations to order entry and customer satisfaction. Team Collaboration and Customer Support * Act as the primary liaison between Account Executives and other departments, including Sales Representatives, ensuring smooth communication and order entry processes. * Ensure the team supports customers by handling and resolving requests and concerns, maintaining high levels of satisfaction. * Develop strategies to engage customers, track their needs, and distribute appropriate materials throughout the customer lifecycle. * Collaborate with the Sales Representatives and other stakeholders to optimize the customer experience, improve product saturation, and identify new business opportunities. * Ensure the team maintains effective communication with customers, ensuring they are informed of new products, assortment gaps, and trends. Performance Reporting and Analysis * Track sales performance, customer satisfaction, and overall team success against goals, adjusting strategies as needed. * Provide regular reports to management on team performance, client feedback, and market trends. * Monitor the team's adherence to company policies and the brand's image, ensuring all communications align with corporate standards. Special Duties * Take on additional leadership responsibilities, including overseeing cross-functional projects and contributing to the development of the sales and account management strategies. * Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new Account Executives, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the team. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field is highly preferred. * 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, and leadership roles within a sales environment. * Proven track record of managing a team and driving sales growth in a competitive market. * Prior experience in cold calling, prospecting, and/or telemarketing is preferred. * Experience in writing detailed reports and analyzing sales performance. * Previous experience in the jewelry or luxury goods industries is highly preferred. * Strong leadership abilities with the capability to motivate and manage a diverse team. * Experience with sales forecasting, strategic planning, and performance monitoring. Ideal Skills * Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and report on team progress. * Strong telephone and customer relationship management skills. * Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, managing multiple priorities effectively. * Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales management software. Travel Must be willing to travel up to 20%.
