Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating potential customers about solar energy solutions, conducting site assessments, and providing tailored proposals that meet their energy needs. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a critical role in promoting renewable energy and helping customers make informed decisions about their energy consumption. Duties * Engage with potential customers through various outreach methods, including door-to-door sales and community events. * Conduct thorough assessments of customer properties to determine the suitability for solar installations. * Present and explain solar energy solutions to clients, highlighting the benefits and savings associated with solar power. * Negotiate contracts and close sales while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. * Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and product knowledge to effectively communicate with clients. * Collaborate with the installation team to ensure seamless project execution from sale to installation. * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company database. Requirements * Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar or energy-related fields. * Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively. * Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse clientele. * Experience in technical sales or outside sales is a plus. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. * A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is essential.
