Overview We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, specifically within a grocery store setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, effective phone etiquette, and the ability to upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and boost store revenue. Duties * Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. * Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone. * Supervise and assist in training new sales staff to maintain high standards of service. * Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions. * Maintain product knowledge to effectively promote items and answer customer inquiries. * Ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance. Requirements * Proven experience in Janitorial sales or a similar role, preferably in a commercial and new construction environment. * Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. * Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective customer interaction. * Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. * Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members as needed. * A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role. * Negotiation skills a plus.
