Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, specifically within a grocery store setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, effective phone etiquette, and the ability to upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and boost store revenue.

Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Utilize effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone.
• Supervise and assist in training new sales staff to maintain high standards of service.
• Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions.
• Maintain product knowledge to effectively promote items and answer customer inquiries.
• Ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Janitorial sales or a similar role, preferably in a commercial and new construction environment.
• Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective customer interaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Ability to supervise and mentor junior staff members as needed.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
