*Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team in the aluminum business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and organizing the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing aluminum materials and products. The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, operating warehouse equipment, and assisting with inventory management. *Responsibilities: - Receive, unload, and store aluminum materials and products in the warehouse - Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (loading, packing, labeling, and staging) - Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits - Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization - Complete diary logs into inventory - Report any discrepancies - Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers - Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment - Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations - Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures *Requirements: - Must be 21+ - Must have Drivers License and be able to drive!!!! - Proven working experience as a Warehouse Associate - Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems - Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods - Good organizational and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects - High school degree *Preferred: - Experience in the aluminum or metal industry a plus - Knowledge of health and safety regulations - History of working outside in the FL heat *Benefits: - Competitive Wages - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Paid time off Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Home daily * Monday to Friday * No nights * No weekends Trucking Driver Type: * Solo driver Trucking Route: * Local People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Commute: * Venice, FL 34285 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Venice, FL 34285: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
