Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join our team and drive the growth of GreenCo Ventures' product presence in the upper part of Michigan. gaylord and above! Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will play a key role in building relationships with dispensaries, promoting our product line, and executing sales strategies. This is a dynamic position perfect for someone who is knowledgeable about the cannabis industry, skilled in client relations, and motivated by achieving results .Responsibilities:Client Relations & Sales Growth:Manage customer accounts and strengthen relationships through regular follow-ups and communication.Travel within Michigan to meet with dispensaries and processors, building a solid client base for GreenCo Ventures products.Respond to client inquiries, provide product recommendations, and educate clients on GreenCo Ventures' offerings.Maintain weekly meetings with the Director of Sales to review goals and prioritize sales activities. Sales Operations:Develop and manage a designated sales territory, continually working to meet or exceed set KPIs.Coordinate with the compliance team on trade sample distribution and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.Collaborate with the Order Fulfillment team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to clients.Conduct in-person promotional activities, such as monthly vendor days, to strengthen brand presence.Market Awareness & Product Knowledge, Stay informed on current cannabis products, strains, and industry trends to effectively advise clients and maximize sales.Monitor competitor activities and market feedback, and communicate relevant insights to improve our offerings.Participate in tradeshows, vendor events, and industry networking events to expand GreenCo Ventures' reach. Qualifications:Experience: mandatory 1-2 years in cannabis sales, or related territory sales experience in a regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, alcohol, or [please apply online] Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with cannabis industry regulations, product types, and the unique needs of dispensary clients. Experience with Metrc and LeafLink is a bonus.Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, organized, detail- oriented, and adaptable. Comfortable working independently while aligning with team goals.Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and manage typical physical tasks associated with sales roles, including extensive travel.
