Entrepreneurship & Business Development Program Manager Full-time position Location: Hybrid; located at 3539 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229 Reports to: This role reports to The Vice President of Business Development and Entrepreneurship Manages: No Direct Reports Department: BD&E Position Overview: The Entrepreneurship & Business Development Program Manager manages and executes small business development programs, ensures seamless administrative and logistical operations, and drives engagement through digital marketing and event coordination. This role requires strong project management skills, experience coaching entrepreneurs, and collaborating with partners, subject matter experts (SMEs), and facilitators to deliver impactful programming. About the Urban League: The Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio (ULGSO) transforms generations by promoting personal empowerment and economic self-sufficiency. We have served the African-American community and other underserved segments since the 1940s. ULGSO provides programming in workforce development, business development & entrepreneurship, youth education, and leadership training to Ohio's Southwestern region, including metro Cincinnati and Dayton areas. What you 'll do: Program Coordination and Administration * Oversee administrative and logistical tasks for all entrepreneurship programs, including scheduling, participant communications, and reporting. * Identify and secure venues for training workshops, webinars, and in-person sessions. * Develop and maintain a calendar of small business and industry-themed events, ensuring alignment with the Entrepreneurship Center's goals. Entrepreneurship Coaching and Technical Assistance * Provide one-on-one coaching to small business owners, assisting with business planning, financial readiness, and market positioning. * Guide entrepreneurs through developing business strategies, funding preparation, and operational improvements. Speaker and Facilitator Management * Identify, recruit, and coordinate SME speakers and facilitators for cohort-based training programs. * Ensure speakers align with program objectives and provide high-value expertise to participants. Marketing & Outreach Support * Collaborate with the Urban League of Southwest Ohio's marketing team to promote programs through social and digital media channels. * Support the development of marketing materials, event promotions, and engagement strategies to increase program visibility. * Leverage digital tools to track and improve program participation and outreach. Partnership & Ecosystem Engagement * Develop relationships with local business organizations, ecosystem partners, and funders to enhance program offerings. * Represent the Entrepreneurship Center at networking events and community meetings. Data Tracking & Reporting * Maintain accurate records of program participation and outcomes in the designated CRM system. * Prepare reports for leadership and funders, showcasing program impact and key performance indicators. What you 'll need: * Bachelor's degree in business, entrepreneurship, economic development, or a related field. * Minimum 3-5 years of experience in entrepreneurship support, business development, program management, or coaching small businesses. * Strong administrative and logistical management skills. * Experience planning and managing cohort-based training programs and identifying SME speakers. * Familiarity with social and digital marketing, working alongside marketing teams to support program outreach. * Proficiency in CRM systems, event planning, and program evaluation tools. * Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Working environment: This is a full-time, in-position located at 3539 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. This position requires regular sitting or standing for long periods at a computer; frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and crouching while working at a desk; filing and record handling; regular use of both hands/arms in reaching, handling, grasping, and keyboarding while using a variety of office equipment; frequent use of a telephone and computer to communicate with coworkers and the public; regular standing to use a variety of office equipment; occasionally will lift and carry items up to 30 pounds; regularly communicate in oral and written form with coworkers and with the general public, constant reading, and interpretation of documents. Salary information: The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$ 75,000 a year. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
