Job description With nearly two dozen retail locations in the area, Our locally owned and operated chain of stores is a growing multi-million dollar mattress retailer. We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, self-disciplined individual to join our Southport sales team. This position has a high potential for promotion to Store Manager in the near future due to our plans for rapid expansion and desire to promote from within.

Responsibilities

Duties

:

• Welcome customers by greeting them, listening and learning their shopping needs. Direct customers by suggesting merchandise.
• Answer questions on merchandise and assist with selection by building customer(s) confidence and offering suggestions and opinions.
• Process sale(s) by totaling purchases. Process checks, cash and credit card transactions via the computer.
• Open and Close store.
• Resolve any customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions.
• Interface with corporate accounting and warehouse systems and employees.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

and Skills:

• Prior sales experience a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Ability to use a Computer.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance to set up displays
• Bilingual a plus

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
