SCOUT DISTRIBUTION | SALES EXECUTION ASSOCIATE JOB SUMMARY The Sales Execution Associate function is to support sales initiatives through out all channels Scout covers. Coverage will include On Premise, Off Premise and Gourmet Grocery accounts with own route as well as route coverage for Account Managers as needed. Sales Execution Associates will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations. The primary role of the Sales Execution Associate is to effectively service all customers in a safe, productive and professional manner to Scout standards. Daily Duties, Functions, and Responsibilities: Run assigned territory routes Merchandising chain and broad market accounts Run assigned routes for support of vacations and illness for regular Account Managers or as workload requires Provide recaps after covering routes to Account Managers Train with Account Managers on their routes Maintain a professional working relationship with buyers at accounts Stay informed and knowledgeable on weekly Scout email with new products, post-offs, specialty inventory and inventory availability Sell in new items, displays and identify gaps in assigned accounts Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with your customers to increase sales and selling space Adhere to and enforce all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules, and regulation Comply with CA rest and meal break law and accurately record time in ADP Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age 2+ years of relevant experience College degree preferred Must have reliable automobile transportation, maintain an acceptable driving record and valid CA driver license, and maintain auto insurance coverage Very-strong planning and organization High level of personal accountability for performance Must be willing to travel within assigned region Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, as needed Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to pull/push a load up to 55 lbs. Requires heavy and repetitive lifting/placement of products up to 55 lbs. Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivots frequently throughout duration of workday. Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.
