Full description of the position

Candidate will be responsible for building/assembling and testing electrical, hydraulic, and fabricated components that meet the specifications of a given design and/or function. Candidate will be supporting an area that is highly organized for safety and efficiency, and must work in a manner that is consistent with quality production; ensuring quality work before the product leaves is your responsibility. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ability to setup, build, and test systems using schematics and prints of electro-hydraulic power units with minimal supervision * Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and electrical diagrams * Keep work area neat, clean, and organized to support a safe and efficient work environment * Check/audit all work performed to ensure quality * Meet required production schedules * Update the company computer with time, inventory, and operational data * Positively interact with co-workers and cross train other assemblers in mastered areas to support results that exceed our customer's goals * Produce product with a quality mind-set. Verifying quality in production, part selection and correction of errors before product moves from your workstation. * Perform other related duties as assigned REQUIRED SKILLS: Technical: * Mechanical drawings * Electrical and hydraulic equipment assembly experience * Basic computer skills * Read and comprehend mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, shop packets and shop schedules * Crane and fork truck operation/material handling Functional: * Organizational skills * Pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 lbs. * Climbing platforms and ladders of various heights * Working at floor, table, and structural overhead levels * Bending and twisting for access to installations * Good work ethic and teamwork skills All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or protected veteran status.
