What you get to do: The Sales Coordinator (Travel Industry Sales) is responsible for supporting the travel industry sales team by ensuring strong in-market presence, relationship-building with key partners, and execution of sales initiatives to drive awareness and ticket sales for family of parks under the United Parks brand. This position plays a key role in ensuring our external partners are well-informed about park offerings, promotions, and competitive advantages, while also assisting with planning and executing sales events and activities.
- Answer emails from clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about United Parks brands, products, commission, incentives, etc.
- Providing product knowledge to clients through comprehensive training sessions on United Parks products and technology
- Monitor and assess point-of-sale positioning at timeshare resorts, hotels, welcome centers, and vacation rental properties
- Conduct training sessions or assisting in the training of clients at various events, tradeshows and Familiarization tours (FAMs)
- Manage Travel Advisor online presence across various social media platforms by creating engaging content, scheduling posts, responding to comments, messages, and mentions to foster interaction with followers
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned What it takes to succeed:
- Have a valid state driver's license
- Must possess excellent communication skills and confidence in face-to-face interactions
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hospitality, service-related industries, or sales
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, with or without A/C, for the entire shift
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds
- Must have flexibility in work schedule, including availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by park operating hours What else is important:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
- Experience in the theme park industry and/or sales
